"Baby Sign has created a lovely bond between me and Kathryn. It's just wonderful to know what she is trying to tell me. "It is so lovely to watch my baby Embeth enjoyig herself and also the other babies. Embeth loves the music and especially playing the instruments! Baby Sign has helped us to strengthen our communication and stop the tantrums, or rather her lack of them should I say! Embeth watches everything I am saying and looks at my hands and tries to copy. Because we can tell her what we are going to do and she can tell us what she needs, she is hardly ever frustrated and therefore is very content and feels no need to scream or have tantrums. I would recommend the clases to anyone who has a young baby or toddler as you have to experience it for yourself and see how it works, it's really good!"

"My son, Samuel, and I attended the first term of Baby Sign (Joey Class) in 2009, after he had turned 6 months old. We both loved coming to the classes which, to my surprise, turned out to be really good fun for the parents too! Our teacher, Claudia, is so bubbly and enthusiastic that you can't help yourself but join in with the singing, actions and baby signing without feeling embarrassed or pressured to do so.Claudia gives each class a theme using pictures, toys, and musical instruments. She introduces each sign using favourite rhymes and songs. The signs make sense and are really easy to learn and practice at home. In no time at all, Samuel recognised and responded to the signs and words for "milk", "food", "drink", "bed-time" and so on. Even my husband uses the signs (despite not attending classes) because he sees the benefit of being able to communicate with Samuel before he can talk (and hopefully this will encourage him to talk sooner). After just a few classes, it became obvious to us that Samuel was experimenting with his hands to try and communicate the sign for "milk" himself. We were thrilled! He loves the animal signs and laughs whenever I sing the animal songs and sign the animal actions. I would definitely recommend these classes to anyone who wants to have more fun with their baby, communicate better with them and make new friends.We can't thank Claudia enough for introducing us to Baby Sign and we look forward to next term!"
