Welcome to Baby Sign!
My name is Claudia, and I would like to share with you the joy and rewards that I have experienced with my children through Baby Sign. It’s not rocket science and it’s not something new: babies use all kinds of signs and gestures as a natural part of learning to communicate. Babies have so much to say, and by learning a few basic signs you can understand your baby’s needs which should result in a content baby and parent.
Baby Sign offers a range of classes to suit each stage of development. The babies start in the Joey and Possum class from 5 months and progress onto the Roos and Koala class at 14 months up to the age of 2.5 years. Exceptions apply; please contact Claudia for more information.

If you would like to know why your baby is crying or what is wrong or if they are experiencing pain then this is an opportunity not to be missed. I want to make Baby Sign a fun experience not only for your child but also for you. You will soon see first hand how improved communication can strengthen the bond between you and your baby.
Baby Sign is recognised by speech and language professionals, nurseries, and schools across WA. Baby Sign is Auslan based (Australian Sign Language) and compatible with Makaton and other sign supporting systems.
In order to be successful you need to be consistent and make that commitment using repetition. Baby Sign strongly recommends two terms for beginners, as it is not just about the baby learning but the PARENT too.
